I'm not sure where to begin with this.
On Hellvellyn, however, I met Ian. A Husband, a father, an avid mountain lover, who is living with incurable cancer.

While still possible In his very own words he has decided to attempt a ‘FAREWELL’ round of the Wainwrights (READ THAT AGAIN).

His mission as he pays homage to the hills is to complete all 214 Wainwrights to raise enough money to provide cancer support and care to North Cumbria for many years to come.

MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY.

Please join or follow Ian @terminalhillness on what may be his last ever journey in the hills.

Ian, I can only hope that your story will inspire someone. Who is going through a similar situation with a loved one or a relative. That even through the most darkest / trying circumstances, your story your mission will give them the strength and courage to keep on going.

His goal is to get 365 climbs in 365 days.

He is doing this to raise awareness for bowel cancer after sadly losing his wife a few years back.

You will find him at the foot of the hill on most mornings.
