Fan Frynach & Cerrig Geleisad

Experience a craggy mountain landscape, the exposed  steep rock walls of Craig Cerrig Gleisiad and the plateau of Fan Frynych. Make it a christmas special and Come and join us for the last walking event of 2023. 

Parking for Craig Cerrig Gleisiad is located in a lay-by on the western side of the A470, 1.8 miles north of the Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre.

A little over two miles, the loop is short but sweet with some amazing views of both east and west sides of brecon.

Hike Duration: 1-2 hours

Elevation gain: 850 ft

Hike Difficulty: Easy to moderate 

Depending on day and numbers a hike over to fan lila may also be included
